We at Guru Nanak Educational Society(GNES), have always been in the forefront during every crisis/calamity/natural disaster situation right from the Tsunami, 2015 Chennai Floods, 2016 Vardah Cyclone, and the first wave of the Covid 19 Pandemic.
The 45th Graduation ceremony of Guru Nanak College (shift I) was held on March 13, 2021. Vice-Chancellor, Dr. S. Gowri was Chief Guest. Mr. Manjit Singh Nayar, General Secretary & Correspondent inaugurated the ceremony. 596 graduates received their degree certificates on this occasion.
Guru Nanak Educational Society and Guru Nanak College received extensive media coverage and appreciation from various important personalities from across the country, for successfully hosting and managing one of the biggest Covid relief camps in Chennai for guest #migrantworkers last year.
The 7th edition of the tournament started on March 8, 2021. A total of 28 teams of women and men played a total of 26 matches in a week. R.K.M. Vivekanandha College (men) and Dr. M.G.R. Janaki College for Women were the winners of the tournament.
